Generally, at DipABRSM level you are required to write programme notes of 1,100 words (+-10%), while for LRSM the length is 1,800 words (+ -10%).
The content of your programme notes should include the followings:
● a brief introduction to the composer
● a section about the work’s historical context and the circumstances surrounding its composition
● a description of the work itself
